The goal of this Website is to provide students, instructors, staff, and other interested individuals with information about Georgia Tech’s commitment to conducting research in a responsible manner.

Included in this Website is an overview of the core components of research ethics, information about Georgia Tech’s policies relating to responsible research, and links to additional research ethics and research compliance resources.

Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) is a collection of subject areas at the intersection of ethics and research. Conducting research responsibly not only involves avoiding misconduct, it also entails recognizing and upholding one’s ethical obligations to others including colleagues, the institution, the academic field, and the public.
